How do you determine how much energy storage you need?
Definitely plan to have enough storage to power your most energy intensive day(s) with no other source of electricity. I think it's as simple as that or figuring out a generator for any shortfall.

How many batteries
Reccommend doing consults with reputtable solar contractors in your area and then doing a comparison. Ask about Franklin batteries, which I think are the best for home storage options. Good luck!
