Avanti Cleantech Forum Rules & Terms of Use

Avanti Cleantech’s goal is to serve as a tool of communication for the community of individuals and businesses who seek their own clean energy supplies. These Forum Rules & Terms of Use (“Rules”) are designed to ensure that we achieve this goal. All users (“Users”) of avanticleantech.com (the “Site”) must follow and agree to the Rules below.

1. No hateful speech.
2. No disinformation.
3. No cyber bullying.
4. No slurs.
5. No denigrating speech.
6. No spread of terrorist content.
7. Be conscientious of your language.
8. Be cautious on call outs – take into account context.
9. Topics without a point or community relevance will be deleted.
10. You may only post material and content that you own.
11. Obtain owner permission before reproducing copyrighted material or properly cite the source in your post. Posting copyrighted material, trademarks, and other violations of the DMCA is prohibited. Please see our Copyright and Trademark Policy for more details.
12. Do not link to images on other websites.
13. Do not advertise retail products, websites or services unless you are an approved vendor of Avanti Cleantech. Contact us at [email protected] for information on how to become an approved vendor.
14. Trolling and off-topic messages are prohibited. This includes deliberately posting inflammatory, irrelevant, or highly offensive comments for the purpose of disrupting the community or harassing another member.
15. Selling any items that are illegal in nature is strictly prohibited.
16. This forum is family friendly. Any posts made should be considered appropriate for all to read. No adult-rated material or language, links to adult-rated material and language, or any form of nudity may be posted on the Site.
17. Users may only have one account with us.
18. You are granting us with a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or re-publish your content in connection with the Site. You retain copyright over your content.
19. Do not disclose private information about anyone, including registered Users or non-Users, without their consent. Private information includes, but is not limited to, names, contact details, pictures, details about personal life, private messages, email, and social media.
20. Do not post messages on behalf of banned members. They are banned for a reason.
21. This Forum is only available to users who are at least 13 years old. If you are younger than this, please do not register for this Service. If you register for this Service, you represent that you are this age or older.

All posts that violate our Rules will be deleted and their commentators will be removed from the Forum.

What is “hate speech” and “fake news”? We decide. This is a private forum – the 1st amendment doesn’t apply.

Suggestions to keep the Forum elevated:

• Keep your thread titles descriptive so that people who read them are clear about the contents of the threads just by looking at the titles.
• Use proper English while posting.
• Remember the purpose of this Forum is help each other – be supportive, constructive and respectful.

Avanti Cleantech has the final word in maintaining community order. This includes moving or deleting threads, posts or messages left on User's profiles. We have sole discretion to either delete or retain posts. We have sole discretion to accept and remove Users at any time. The acceptance of a member is revocable in Avanti Cleantech’s discretion at any time. Any offenders of these Rules will be banned and not permitted to re-register under a new account.

Terms of Use:

The first amendment prohibits the US government from passing laws restricting our right to free speech. It does not restrict a private organization or business from enacting and enforcing standards related to people’s speech and forms of expression. These Rules are our standards that must be followed in order to participate on our private website. If you do not want to accept them, do not register with us or participate in the Forum.

Considering the real-time nature of a Forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages or confirm the validity of all information posted. We try but do not always actively monitor the contents of and are in no event ever responsible for any content posted by Users on our Site. We do not attest to or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any post, discussion thread, content or message, and are not responsible for the contents of any post, discussion thread, content or message. The content and views expressed by Users on our Site, are not necessarily the views of us or any entity associated with our Site or Avanti Cleantech. We encourage any User who feels that content is objectionable to please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so we may not be able to remove or edit particular content immediately.

You agree, through your use of this Forum and our Site, to be bound by these Rules, including but not limited to, your agreement to not use this Site to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you.

Avanti Cleantech reserves the right to delete any message or post for any or no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your posts and messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Avanti Cleantech, and XenForo Ltd. (the makers of the board software), and their employees and agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s) and content posted on our Site.

Avanti Cleantech also reserves the right to reveal User identity (or whatever information we know about Users) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any content, post or materials transmitted by a User.

Any violation of these Rules will result in an infraction up to and including a permanent ban. Please help us help us to achieve our goals with this Site and report any instances of Rule violations. These Rules may be altered at any time without notice so please check this page often.
