What is the best battery chemistry for a battery that will be used at homes in connection with a solar system?
My understanding is that lithium iron phosphate batteries are less volatile (less prone to fires) than lithium ion batteries. Due to the lower fire risk, many permitting jurisdictions also allow them to be inside structures with minimal spacing restrictions. We are considering Franklin batteries for our property.What is the best battery chemistry for a battery that will be used at homes in connection with a solar system?
