I think one of the biggest things the Biden's Administration has done is passage of the IRA. In particular, their work on cleaning up the heavy US manufacturing sector should be better appreciated and utilitized.

agreed - this is very cool. I think the data on which sectors most contribute to global carbon emissions is somewhat ambiguous to interpret. For example, electricity and heat are the leading contributors, followed by transportation and then the runners up are manufacturing, construction, industrry and building emissions. But, heavy industry is really a combo of these sectors and on a massive scale given what goes into their operations. Of course, so many other things are impacted by greening up heavy industry which also makes the topic complication. Hopefully, the "greening" of heavy industry can be combined with support of US based industry creation and not add to heavy industry wanting to move out of the U.S. I would like to see the topics of greening heavy industry and creation/support ot of US heavy industry talked about as a combined issue.
